I would have been like - ok that was fun and it was a cool project, think we got more than we ever thought we would out of it, but we can see the writing on the wall here and I think it's time to move on. if I was in Scott's shoes, after putting all that money and effort into Adam (and they have a much more insider view of him than we do) and seeing the results.

Rather ask "What is the cost of developing a prototype cast for bikes?" (still asking the same question but put it into context) Then follow up asking the process that designers go through to create these ideas.
